Careers - Sales Representative

Core Technology is recruiting motivated individuals who are interested in a challenging, yet rewarding career in technology sales to the criminal justice market. Our offices are located in Lansing, Michigan, but travel through the state and country will be required. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who are comfortable with inside and outside sales, making cold calls and have a general understanding of technology. Experience selling to or working with a criminal justice agency is advantageous. We will train you on Core Technology’s products, the criminal justice market and provide you with an excellent support staff to assist with technical issues.

Requirements for this job include:

• College degree - 4 year degree (preferably in Business Management)
• Microsoft Office Suite – Experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint Outlook and BCM (or other CRM tool)
• Communication Skills – Phone, in-person and written
• Presentation Skills – Small and large groups
• Organization skills – Day-to-day tasks as well as quarterly and annual planning
• Sales Experience – Generating new business by prospecting, qualify and closing deals
• Travel – Ability to travel several times throughout a month
